A spa visit is one of the most anticipated parts of a Kemer holiday. If it is your first time, it is natural to wonder what happens inside, how long it takes and how to prepare. Here we walk you through the Kemer spa experience step by step, using a package at Vois VIP Spa in central Kemer as the example.
The Kemer Spa Experience, Step by Step
1. Welcome and Preparation
Our team welcomes you and talks through your package and any requests. This is the moment to mention sunburn, a health condition or sensitive areas. Then you get ready in the changing area and remove any jewellery.
2. Sauna and Steam Room
Every package starts with the sauna and steam room. The dry heat of the Finnish sauna warms the muscles, while the humid steam opens the pores and prepares the skin. Short rounds of a few minutes are enough; take a lukewarm shower and drink water in between.
3. Hammam Scrub and Foam
You rest on the warm marble, then the traditional kese mitt gently exfoliates the skin before a cloud of foam and a light massage. You can ask for a gentler or firmer scrub. See our Turkish bath guide for details.
4. Massage
After the hammam the skin is soft and the muscles warm, the best moment for a massage. Depending on your package this is a foot, back and face massage, a 60-minute mixed massage or a 75-minute Balinese aroma massage.
5. Face Mask and Rest
Packages finish with a face mask, followed by time in the relaxation area with plenty of water.
