If you want to try a Turkish bath in Kemer, Vois VIP Spa offers the traditional scrub and foam ritual right in the town centre. The hammam has been part of Anatolian bathing and relaxation culture for centuries. For many of our international guests, it's a highlight of their holiday in Turkey.
The ritual usually goes like this:
- Warm-up. You spend a few minutes in the sauna or steam room. The heat prepares your skin and muscles for the scrub.
- Rest on the navel stone. You lie on the warm marble platform (göbek taşı) and let your body warm up.
- Scrub (kese). The attendant uses a kese mitt to scrub your whole body and remove dead skin.
- Foam massage. A massage with rich soap foam softens and soothes the skin after the scrub.
- Rinse and rest. You're rinsed with warm water, then relax for a while.

If it's your first spa visit, a little preparation makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Book ahead. Depending on how busy we are, we can welcome walk-ins. In summer and in the evenings, we recommend booking by phone or WhatsApp to avoid waiting.
Arrive a little early. Arriving 10–15 minutes before your appointment gives you time to change and start without rushing.
Avoid a heavy meal. Eating a large meal right before a massage or hammam can feel uncomfortable. A light snack beforehand works best.
Tell us about your health. If you're pregnant, have a recent injury, sensitive skin or allergies, please let your therapist know before the session. The treatment will be adjusted accordingly.
